Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What can I expect from each session?
At the initial evaluation, we will work together to determine goals and a treatment plan that works best for you and your family.

Q: How long are the appointments?
Our appointments typically last from between 45-60 minutes, depending on the individualized needs of the child.

Q: How often will we meet?
It will depend on your specific needs. I will go over all recommendations with you after our first visit.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we do accept most major insurances!

Q: I think my baby has a tongue tie but can stick their tongue out fine. Is therapy needed?
The tongue movements involve a wide variety of movements and oral restrictions (tongue/lip ties) can create oral dysfunction, leading to a wide variety of symptoms including shallow and/or painful latch, clicking, sleepy and/or frequent feeds, popping off breat/bottle, decreased milk supply, poor weight gain, lip blisters, coughing or choking, colic/irritability, gas/reflux, and much more. We encourage you to reach out for more information and book a free call to determine if an evaluation is recommended.

Q: I think my baby has a flat spot on their head. Should I schedule an evaluation or wait and see if it will correct on it's own?
We highly recommend scheduling an evaluation. We specialize in plagiocephaly and torticollis and have an extremely high success rate of correcting the head shape without a helmet! The sooner we begin, the better outcomes and less time in therapy!
